It is the little things in life...๐Ÿฅ€

Here are two tiny antique objects that brought enjoyment and smile to my day. So small that I can hold them gently in one hand:

1) A charming Victorian tintype photograph of a lovely little girl dating from the 1860s. The child looks so sweet and candid with her angelic round face and the tidy fringe visible from under the cap. How could I have not brought her home? I wonder what was the name of this darling little girl (I would like to call her 'Clara'). From the middle-upper class, I hope she received much love in her life. I adore how well she is dressed and how beautifully she poses for being taken the picture. ❤️

2) A tiny late Victorian leather coin purse which I found too cute. As an antique item, the metal jaw clasp top shows signs of use commensurate with age, yet it opens and closes perfectly well and the inside is still in great condition. It could be indeed used today, but I think it would make also a lovely purse for an antique doll! What would you use it for? Any ideas? ๐Ÿ˜˜

ps: Both pieces happily sourced from Kempton - Sunbury Antiques Market. ๐Ÿ™
