I adore how the two women on the foreground look at each other and candidly smile - It makes me smile too 😊 (and, yes! I also love looking at their dresses and accessories: a gentle dive into #victorianfashion 🤗).

The photographer who took this image was James Wood. He was a photographer in Aberdeen during the 1860s-1870s, so we can date this photograph within these dates.
